dc.description.abstract | Today, family immigration constitutes more than one-third of the immigrants coming from outside Europe (EEA) to Norway and the EU countries. It is the explicit goal of the Norwegian Government to adapt its immigration policies to European standards. But, EU countries also differ in how they regulate family migration. This report compares family reunification regulations in Norway to those in the EU member states. The report is based on the EMN’s 2017 focused study, named Family Reunification of Third-Country Nationals in the EU: National Practices. | |
